We are PinPoint Theatre.

We are inspired by the potential that exists inside humankind, and the events and actions that people can cause and create that change the world. People and their actions are the pioneers of change, of new things, of exciting discoveries, worldwide or personal and however big or small these changes are, we at PinPoint are inspired by these to create evocative and immersive theatre.

OUR MANIFESTO:

We are passionate about the possibilities found in the potential of the performer’s body, and how interesting and detailed stories can become through the medium of physical theatre. We believe in the power of a physical ensemble to bring to life things that inspire us, and are constantly exploring new ways in which we can use our bodies to bring to life these inspirations.

Through the inspirations we find, we recognize the power of well-rounded characters and emotive narratives. We delve deep into research and exploration of narrative and character to ensure our stories are told with sincerity. We are committed to bringing to life the characters we create in a genuine and humanistic way.

We are intrigued by the potential of multimedia within performance, and its ability to enhance and bring to life the real life events that inspire us. We passionately believe that theatre should be an amalgamation of methods, styles and mediums, that when pinned together create visually dynamic and intensely stimulating performances.

We recognise the combined power of devised ensemble work, of new and collaborative writing, of traditional and character driven narratives, of the progressive use of multimedia in performance and we use this recognition to pin together striking works of art.
